ABOUT

Thirty-six years ago, a young woman and a young man crossed paths within the walls of an esoteric Sufi monastery. Drawn by the same longing, they had come to sit in the presence of a Great Master, receiving his guidance and immersing themselves in the path of inner awakening.

Two years after their marriage, they welcomed their first child into the world. In keeping with the monastery’s tradition, they asked the Master to choose a name for their son.

The name bestowed upon the child was Shahead (شاهد)
—a Persian name, rooted in Arabic, meaning:
“The Witness”.

His journey began in the quiet atmosphere of the monastery, where spirituality and music intertwined. From his earliest years, music became the language of his soul, nurtured by the influence of his father, a devoted musician.
As life unfolded, an unquenchable yearning for freedom found its voice through his compositions. Music became more than an art—it became the expression of an inner pilgrimage, a universal language reaching beyond culture, belief, and words.

Then, at the age of twenty-six, that lifelong search culminated as he dissolved into the ultimate experience of liberation.

Since that moment, Shahead’s life has been devoted to a single offering: guiding others toward the recognition of their own true nature through the harmony of discourse and the transformative power of music.
